Lake Čertovo jezero

This lake is situated on a slope of the rock formation Čertova stěna at a height 1030 metres north-west of Železná Ruda, near the lake Černé jezero. It is aproximately 250 m long nad 150 metres wide, its area being 10,31 ha and its depth 36,5 metres. The lake is of glacial origin and wholly surrounded by spruce trees forming a primeval forest. The lake has a high dike formed of a moraine and glacial corrie.
